I anledning af at der snart er Komiks, og de er interesserede i at vide hvad der sker på internettet leder jeg efter så mange danske webcomics som muligt (danske = dansk producerede, de tæller også selvom de er på engelsk). Hvis du kender nogen jeg har glemt vil jeg meget gerne høre det.

Opdatering! Denne liste bliver ikke længere opdateret, men hjemmesiden til samme liste gør. Se efter opdateringer der. :)

Minimumskrav: 10 sider indenfor samme serie (pinup forsider tæller ikke) + en hjemmeside dedikeret til nævnte webcomic.

My old external hard drive was declared busted by me a month or two ago. If my computer was faster I could get to my stuff, but as it is I can't get onto it.
So I bought a new. Only problem is that I cannot get to the things that are on my old. Including all my old art and quite a lot of school stuff that I only have there.

So, this weekend most the problem was solved. As it was spend with my boyfriend who has my old computer in his apartment. And seeing how this computer has both the hard drive from my first and second computer installed, it was pretty easy to save all my old art.
This made me realise that I'm having my 10 years making digital art for the internet anniversary these months (it's hard to put a specific date on it due to the nature of internet galleries 10 years ago).

Cons within the next year in Denmark related to either anime/manga/cosplay, comics in general or drawing...

October/November 2009:
TB-træf: 10-30 - 11/1 2009 (200 persons limit)
J-popcon: 11-6 - 11-8 2009

May 2010:
SVScon: 5-7 - 5-9 2010
Komiks.dk: 5-21 - 5-23 2010

July 2010:
Yari-con: 7-3 - 7-3 2010 (100 person limit)
MatsuriCon: 7-19 - 7-25 2010

August 2010
Genki: 8-6 - 8-8 2010


The ones without mentioned limit can take more than 500 people. It's insane. The anime/manga/cosplay cons now are up to 4... Either there's a lot of wealthy fans, or some of those have to start experiencing declines in numbers.

Edit: Oh wow. Turns out there's one more. Matsuri-con seems to be running for an entire week.

Not much to say other than I don't update often enough. And Chrystel's wing tends to be held awfully low half the time. Drawing them like that so often is actually rather depressing. X)

Did a new 12-hour comic yesterday.

It got a lot of mermaids wearing... Pearls. And nothing else. So probably not quite worksafe. ;)

Oh wow... This weekend had Genki-con for animefans in Copenhagen. They had limited it to 200 people participating.
This article now gives some numbers: http://dkneko.org/2009/06/24/genki-2009-overstaet/

With 23 arranger and 26 helpers, Genki actually had more staff to attend the need of 200 people (staff included) than J-popcon 2006 had to attend to 1000 people.
No wonder I got overworked as J-popcon helper in 2006. And I'm not surprised to hear that most events went as planned at Genki.

Also, I bet all the attending people really enjoyed having room to breathe on the locations. :)

If you're on Twitter, set your location to Tehran & your time zone to GMT +3.30. Iranian security forces are hunting for bloggers using location/timezone searches. The more people at this location, the more of a logjam it creates for forces trying to shut down Iranians' access to the internet. Cut & paste & pass it on.

PS. I don't know if it actually works, but it doesn't seem like that much trouble to change location/timezone, and if it works it's awesome. ;)
